Welcome to Drawn from Cocoon®. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of this website and the purchase of individually hand-painted silk scarves and wraps created by Drawn from Cocoon®. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using this website or placing an order.
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Drawn from Cocoon® website and the purchase of individually hand-painted silk scarves and wraps created by Drawn from Cocoon®, an artisanal studio based in Gqeberha, South Africa.
By accessing this website or placing an order, you acknowledge that these Terms & Conditions have been read, understood, and accepted in full.
2. Products
Every scarf and wrap offered on this website is individually hand-painted on 100% Mulberry silk.
Each piece is a one-of-a-kind original artwork. No two pieces are identical, and every artwork is individually completed by the artist before leaving the studio.
Every effort is made to accurately represent each artwork through product photography. However, slight variations may occur due to the handcrafted nature of each piece, as well as differences in individual screen settings, lighting conditions, and devices.
3. Pricing & Availability
All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR), unless otherwise stated.
Prices may be amended without prior notice.
The availability of any artwork is not guaranteed until an order has been confirmed and payment has been successfully received.
Drawn from Cocoon® reserves the right to discontinue any artwork or product at any time without prior notice.
4. Orders
By placing an order, accurate, current, and complete information must be provided.
All orders remain subject to acceptance and availability.
An order confirmation email will be issued once an order has been placed.
Drawn from Cocoon® reserves the right to refuse, decline, or cancel any order at its sole discretion.
5. Shipping & Returns
Shipping is available throughout South Africa and to selected international destinations.

6. Intellectual Property
All artwork, designs, illustrations, photographs, text, logos, graphics, website content, and other material appearing on this website remain the intellectual property of Drawn from Cocoon®, unless otherwise stated.
No artwork, product design, website content, or material may be copied, reproduced, distributed, published, modified, adapted, or otherwise used without the prior written permission of the artist.
7. Website Use
This website may only be used for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of, or restrict the use and enjoyment of, this website by any other person.
Unauthorised use of this website may result in legal action and may constitute a criminal offence.
8. Limitation of Liability
While every reasonable effort is made to ensure the accuracy and availability of the information contained on this website, Drawn from Cocoon® makes no warranties or representations regarding its completeness, accuracy, reliability, or availability.

9. A Note About Colour & Uniqueness
Every effort is made to accurately represent the colours, textures, and details of each artwork through product photography. However, colours may appear differently depending on individual screen settings, lighting conditions, and devices.
As every Drawn from Cocoon® scarf and wrap is individually hand-painted, subtle variations in colour, pattern, brushwork, texture, and artistic expression form part of the character and uniqueness of each creation.
These characteristics are inherent to handcrafted artwork, are not considered defects, and do not constitute grounds for a return, refund, or exchange.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any dispute arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of South Africa.
11. Amendments
Drawn from Cocoon® reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Any amendments will be published on this page and will become effective immediately upon publication.
